  Black Warrior Movements!

Thought provoking lyrics, collected voice and dynamic stage performance are signatures of Fire Briggs' musical artistry. An art that he has been molding since he was a young boy. Born into a community where music is integral to every aspect of life. He was surrounded early by rich musical influences and expressed a keen interest in blessings the world with his own music. He grew up listening to and admiring reggae greats such as Honorable Robert Nesta Marley and Peter Tosh. Their social message, social commentary, and praise of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I. In high school he was known to 'ride the rhythm' at any school performance. Grasping any opportunity to perform at shows, concerts and talent searches, allowed his music to mature. AS he grew older, his journey in the quest for truth led him to hail Rastafari. Rastafari taught him about life and the power of his music. Fire Briggs stared to hear the hunger cries of young suffering children, the frustration in the voice of the ghetto youth and the hopelessness in the wails of fearful mothers. He, however, also saw hope in giving praise, restoration in nature and peace in the beauty of love. These are the elements that pervade throughout and also drive his music. HIs music is a reflection of his life experiences. HIs music speaks a universal language, which endeavors to educate, uplift, unite and entertain. In communities throughout his home parish, Fire Briggs is already a respected reggae artist. He has performed dubs for countless musicians and radio disc jockeys in Jamaica and abroad. As a member of The Black Warrior Movements reggae group, he has performed in reggae shows such as St. Thomas Splash, Back to School and Eastern Togetherness. INternational his music has received airplay on radio stations in Florida and New York. Audiences in Miami have also been blessed with his energetic stage performance. Fire Briggs' long awaited single titled "Bless Mama" was released in 2001 on an internationally marketed compilation album titled "Rise Up and Live". He is currently working on his debut album to be released on the Black Warrior Movements Record Label. Fire Briggs catches the ear of conscious reggae listeners. He continues to command the attention of international music lovers as he continues his trod to becoming one of reggae music's memorable sons.
